Charter School Office Portal Help Guides

The Charter School Office (CSO) is in the process of transitioning applications from SurveyMonkey Apply ("CSO Portal") to the ÈËÑý¸Ø½» Application Business PortalÌý("ÈËÑý¸Ø½» Business Portal") using theÌýSED Monitoring and Vendor Performance System.Ìý We are happy to announce that as part of the third phase of this rollout, on July 7, 2025, the "Charter RenewalÌýApplication" will be available in the ÈËÑý¸Ø½» Business Portal. Therefore, as of July 7, 2025, all new applications for Charter Renewals must be completed and submitted using theÌýÌý(and selectingÌýSED Monitoring and Vendor Performance System), and any revision request associated with the renewal application must also be completed in the .Ìý

As of June 30, 2025, all new applications for charter school revision requests must be completed and submitted using theÌý; however, any revision request applications in progress or submitted, but not yet approved, in the CSO Portal prior to June 30, 2025, will be finalized there.ÌýIn addition, as of June 16, 2025, all new applications for adding a Board of Trustees (BOT) member must be completed and submitted using theÌýÈËÑý¸Ø½» Business Portal;Ìýhowever, any BOT applications in progress or submitted, but not yet approved, in the CSO Portal prior to June 16, 2025, will be finalized there. With each new application added to the ÈËÑý¸Ø½» Business Portal, the CSO has provided BOR-authorized charter schools with an email notification and application-specific portal instructions and guidance, which can also be found below.
